University of Oregon Ph.D. Student to undertake 4 weeks Internship on C2R-CD Project

The C2R-CD project is pleased to welcome Laura Gattis, a University of Oregon Ph.D. Student to undertake a four (4) weeks Internship on Project. Laura earned a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and a Master's degree in Media Innovation from the University of Nevada, Reno. While enrolled in the graduate program, she also acquired a graduate certificate in renewable energy, learning about the overlap between media coverage and public perception of climate change actions. After completing her programs, she worked for a sustainable agriculture company in rural Nevada. Motivated by the desire to develop a deeper understanding of environmental communication, she plans to pursue a career in academia. Laura is in Ghana as part of the University of Oregon's Media in Ghana programme and will be here for the next four weeks.
